Aveca Groupe Construction recently completed a full basement bathroom remodel from scratch in Mirabel, transforming the space into a modern, elegant, and highly functional retreat.
To create a bright and spacious atmosphere, we installed a full feature wall of 24×24 white porcelain tiles. The large-format tiles reduce grout lines, giving the room a clean, seamless appearance while visually expanding the space. Since the bathroom has no windows, proper lighting was essential. We added bright LED pot lights throughout the ceiling to ensure consistent, even illumination that makes the room feel open and welcoming at any time of day.
For the shower, we selected a modern slim shower base to achieve an almost seamless entry. This low-profile design not only enhances the contemporary look but also improves accessibility and comfort. Inside the shower, a split mosaic accent wall adds texture and elegance while serving as a practical focal point. A built-in 12×12 niche provides convenient storage for shampoos and soaps, keeping the area organized and clutter-free.
To further maximize space and functionality, we installed a sleek heated towel rack. This addition keeps towels warm and dries them quickly, helping maintain freshness while optimizing wall space in this compact basement layout.
